Core Themes and Call for Papers Tracks

This symposium focuses on issues related to aging society, adult education, employment transition, health and well-being, and technology application. Graduate students, scholars, and practitioners are welcome to submit papers. The submission topics are as follows:

Track 1

Boundaryless Learning and Lifelong Competency Development

Research related to Adult education, lifelong learning, senior learning, the third age, digital learning, intergenerational learning, upskilling, and competency empowerment.

Track 2

Senior Labor and Career Transition

Research related to Middle-aged and older employment, re-employment, retirement preparation, second careers, flexible working, mature talent development, age-friendly workplaces, and labor policies.

Well-being, Health Support, and Social Participation

Research related to Healthy aging, long-term care, disability prevention, social prescribing, community care, family caregiver support, mental health, social connectedness, and senior social participation.

Track 4

Aging Society and Mature Workplace Innovation

Research related to Gerontechnology, smart care, service design, AI and digital applications, public-private partnerships (PPP), university-industry collaboration, social innovation, and senior innovation ecosystems.
